Wordstock Book & Literary Festival 2012, Portland, Oregon

• Tin House Fall Issue Release Party, Wednesday, October 10
• Poets Slam, Thursday, October 11
• 8th Live Wire! Radio Wordstock Extravaganza, Saturday, October 13
• Wordstock for Writers Workshops, same as the Book Fair
• Wordstock Book Fair is the main event, Saturday-Sunday, October 13-14 at the Oregon Convention Center  (there's a light rail stop right in front of the center, bus service, some street parking is available, I think there's a parking garage nearby too but not sure)

I've only ever attended the Book Fair part of this festival. It's a huge offering of all things writerly around the region. Booths from publishers, local magazines, organizations, editors, authors, self-publishing helpers, supplies, and bookstores. A writer's Mecca.

A great deal at just $7 a day for the Book Fair, or $10 for a two-day ticket. Children under 13 are free but still need a ticket.
